Precision in the hundredths range
In metal processing, eroding stands for the removal of metal using the electrical discharge machining (EDM) process. This thermal, ablative manufacturing process for conductive materials is based on electrical discharge processes (sparks) between the electrode (sink erosion) or a wire (wire erosion) as a tool and the conductive workpiece.
The main advantage of these processes is the extremely precise cuts even with high material thickness and hard material. The dimensional accuracy and form accuracy are maintained throughout the entire manufacturing process. It is therefore ideally suited for sensitive areas where maximum precision is required, such as in aerospace and medical technology.
What both eroding processes have in common is the high precision in the shaping production. One hundredth of a millimetre accuracy is our speciality. We have been relying on high-end EDM machines from Mitsubishi for two decades.
For our customers, we use the appropriate process for their area of application. You supply the plans, we implement them.
